Timothy Cheruiyot eviscerated the rest of the field in the men’s 1500m to take gold at the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha. The Kenyan ran 3:29.26, finishing more than two seconds clear of anyone else. Silver went to Algerian Taoufik Makhloufi, with Poland’s Marcin Lewandowski setting a new national record for bronze.
