Both Valby (Sport Management) and Ormsby (Applied Physiology & Kinesiology) not only had success on the cross country courses in the 2021 season, but they were honored for their academic achievements after being the only two Gators named to the All-Academic Team.

Valby and Ormsby collected All-Region performances after finishing second and 16th, respectively, at the regional meet. With her silver medal outing, Valby qualified for nationals where she led the talented pack of 255 runners for the first 4k of the race. She placed 27th overall to gain All-American recognition.
