Ohio State Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches’ Association announced its 2022 academic awards on Wednesday. The Buckeyes were honored on the men’s and women’s team sides as well as a combined 16 individuals.

To qualify for the team to make the list, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on that team must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. The Buckeye women own a cumulative 3.325 cumulative GPA while the Buckeye men have a 3.046 cumulative GPA.

Individuals must meet academic and athletic criteria in order to make the list. Student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, and have completed at least two semesters or three quarters at the nominating institution. Athletically, student-athletes must have finished the season ranked in the top 96 of any indoor championship individual event or in the top 48 of any indoor championship relay event. On the outdoor side, student-athletes must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships (the preliminary rounds or final championship competition) or for the multi-events, be ranked in the top 48 in the East or West.

  • Buckeye women honored: Aziza Ayoub, Nya Bussey, Addie Engel, Abbey Kuhn, Andrea Kuhn, Alexus Pyles, Chanler Robinson, Jaimie Robinson
  • Buckeye men honored: Luke Bendick, Tyler Johnson, Josh Miller, Nick Miller, Praise Olatoke, Robby Oswald, David Palmer
