The Leiden, Netherlands native commanded the women’s field from start to finish en route to winning the women’s 5K race. Maatoug took first with a time of 16:57.3 – 13 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
The Blue Devils are back in action on Sept. 30 when they travel to Bethlehem, Pa. to compete in the Paul Short Invitational.
