OXFORD, Miss. – Mississippi State’s cross country program enters the postseason stretch of its schedule, traveling north to the SEC Championship, hosted by Ole Miss. The race will be televised live on the SEC Network.
The MSU women will toe the line at 10:08 a.m. CT at the Ole Miss Golf Course.
Admission to the 2022 SEC Cross Championships is free and open to the public. This marks the first time since 2009 Ole Miss has served as host of the SEC Cross Country Championships.
Madison Jones leads the squad with a season-best time of 17:38.3. Teammate Savannah McIntosh also logged her best time of the season at the Live in Lou Classic after posting a top-35 finish of 18:30.9. Freshman Hunter Anderson has also impressed in her first year as a Bulldog, clocking her quickest collegiate run in only her second race of the season.
Rounding out the lineup for MSU is Zoe Brito, Gracie Gibson, Hayley Ogle, Grace Ritchie and Mary Beth Woodward.
