2022 RunBlogRun Fall Cross Country Training & Racing Program, Week Ten, Day Three, a day of recovery

Today is Wednesday, November 2, 2022

This is Garrett Heath, who races from 1,500m-10,000m on track and now focuses on the trail races. He was a fine cross country runner, winning the Great Edinburgh Cross Country Festival on several occasions, photo by Dan Vernon.

Garrett Heath turns 37 today! He is now focused on trail racing. For most of his career, Garrett raced from the

1,500m to the 10,000m. He is a fine cross country runner and he now has taken that strength and moved to the

trail races, testing himself from 25k and beyond.

You had a tempo day yesterday, so today is a recovery day. Keep it simple.

You are fit, focused and primed. Keep the stress down, sleep well, hydrate well and manage your week.

For those who have big races this weekend, keep it light.

Your workout for today warm up slow, 45-55 minutes, 6 times 150-meter stride outs, cooldown.
