2022 RunBlogRun Winter Training Block, Week One, Day 3, a good Wednesday run….

2022 RunBlogRun Summer Cross Country Mileage Program, Week Six, Day Five

This is the first week back after the Holiday. This is Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

You have had three weeks off or of modest running, and while you have retained your fitness, or much of it, from the fall, we want to get you back into shape over the next 8 weeks. You can race off your cross-country fitness as you build to the spring season, but we suggest that the indoor season, which is a lot of fun, is a bit of a diversion from the outdoor season.

For your workout today, warm up well, then 45-50 minutes in a park, on a trail, or in a quiet neighborhood, if there is such an animal. Just be careful of traffic and bikes and other folks working out. Then, cool down.
