Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week — Senior Nick Foster ran a career-best in the 1,000 meters on Saturday (Jan. 7) at the Wolverine Invitational. With a time of 2:22.35, he finished fourth in a race dominated by pro runners. » Big Ten Release
Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week — Freshman Zane Forist had a series of strong performances in his collegiate debut on Saturday (Jan. 7) at the Wolverine Invitational. In the shot put, he threw 17.76 meters (58 feet, 3.25 inches) to win the event. Forist also finished fourth in the weight throw with a throw of 18.11 meters (59-5). » Big Ten Release
