2022 RunBlogRun Winter Training Block, Week Two, Day Six…a day at the races

2022 RunBlogRun Summer Cross Country Mileage Program, Week Six, Day Five

This is Saturday, January 14, 2023.

This is a workout for day six, Week Two of the 2023 RunBlogRun Winter Training Block.

During the Winter Training Block, we encourage athletes to race on the weekends. This is very early in the 2023 season.

We suggest that if you race, go under and over distance, so 1,500/mile types would go 800m, 3000m. Find an all-comers meet,

a small indoor meet.

Your workouts for today:

warm-up slowly, 30 minutes of moderate running, then, an 800m race or  a 3000m race, then, slow cool-down.

If you do not race, warm-up slowly, 50 minutes, with 2×5 minutes at 5k pace, 5 minutes easy in between, and after, cool-down.
