The new Mondo Super X Performance track was recently renovated in June of 2022 and named in honor of the late Lauren McCluskey, who was a Utah track & field student-athlete.

OFF THE BLOCKS
The Utes will send 17 student-athletes to compete in the meet, including five that will kick things off day 1 (Jan. 20). Rachel Whipple will start things for Utah in the pentathlon before Karli Branch and Caroline Fischer follow up with the mile before Megan Rose competes in the 200m dash. Delaney Gates and Malia Overton will then compete in the long jump to close out the day. Fischer’s mile race will be her collegiate debut on the track side of things having only competed in cross country at both Providence and Utah.

On Saturday, 15 Utes will compete against the field with Emily Martin (60m) and Bri Rinn (600m) making their collegiate debuts. Maya LeBar, Taylor Watson and Jasie York will make their season debuts for the indoor season.
