RALEIGH After a record-breaking performance that catapulted him to No. 1 in the nation, NC State’s Cameron Murray has been named the ACC Indoor Track Performer of the Week.
Murray, a graduate student from Atlanta, set the school record in the 60M hurdles over the weekend at the Hokie Invitational. His time of 7.6 is a new school record, but also the No. 1 mark in the nation.
He also finished second in the long jump (24’9″).
Murray is a four-time NCAA East Regional qualifier in the 110m hurdles, the 110m hurdles, the long jump and the 4×100 relay for outdoor track. He is a three-time All-ACC performer in the 110 hurdles as well as the 60m hurdles (indoor).
