LUBBOCK, Texas – The Utah track & field team saw a trio of Utes compete on Friday at the Texas Tech Open & Multis inside the Sports Performance Center.
Utah’s day started out with Martin earning a spot in the opening round of the 60m dash with a time of 7.61 (aa) in the qualifier before posting a time of 7.62 (aa) in the opening round to close out her day. Maya LeBar also ran in the later heats.
Wilcox nearly missed out on a podium finish when she posted a 1:35.12 mark in the 600m – which was barely a new PR compared to her run last week (1:35.18). Wilcox then ran a 58.18 (aa) in her first collegiate 400m indoor race and took second in her heat.
