SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The University of Michigan men’s track and field team began action at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational on Friday (Feb. 3) at the Loftus Sports Center with a pair of runners in the 5,000-meter run.

Jack Kelke and James Gedris were U-M’s only representatives on day one. The pair — making their first appearance in the event this season –placed 18th and 22nd, respectively, with Kelke running 14:39.40 and Gedris 14:50.64.

The Wolverines will wrap up their stay at the Meyo Invitational on Saturday (Feb.4) at 10 a.m. Jack Spamer, Zach Stewart, Colton Yesney, and Caleb Jarema will kick off the day for Michigan in the 3,000 meters.
