LOUISVILLE, KY- The Pitt track and field program wrapped up a record-breaking weekend at the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships in Louisville.
On the track, Stephon Brown placed eighth in the men’s 60m with a time of 6.73. Â
In the men’s 200m, Che Nwabuko secured seventh place with a time of 21.44, while Nigel Hussey placed eighth with a time of 21.60.
Jack Miller took home 25th place with a time of 8:12.53 in the men’s 3000m. On the women’s side, Ellen Baker was the first to cross the finish line for the Panthers to notch 37th place with a time of 9:49.58.
On the field, Otoniel Badjana recorded an eighth finish with a mark of 16.83m. On the women’s side, Niya Crawford claimed 21st place with a mark of 13.10m.
Clement Campbell notched eighth place in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 14.88m, while Uri Arnon placed 12th with a mark of 14.29m.
Back on the track, Caleia Johnson, Success Duruzor, Imani Clark, and Nikki Scherer recorded the sixth-best time in program history securing fourth in the women’s 4x400m with a time of 3:38.99. On the men’s side, Devin Nugent, Nigel Hussey, Matt Wilson, and Stephon Brown notched the sixth-best time in program history placing fourth with a time of 3:09.94.
