Wischusen Splits 4:09 To Carry UC To US#3 10:11.61 In NYC

After a cross country season cut short by injury and a long road to recovery, Union Catholic NJ junior Jimmy Wischusen showed he is healthy and fit in the distance medley relay Wednesday at the Eastern States meet at The Armory. 

The 86th Eastern States Indoor Championships was delayed by one day due to a snowstorm.

Wischusen split 4:09.72 on the anchor carry and Union Catholic ran US#3 10:11.61. 

Nathaniel Rayan from Scotch Plains-Fanwood NJ won the 55-meter hurdles in a nation-leading time of 7.14 seconds. 

Hunter College came back from six seconds down and won the girls DMR in a US#3 time of 12:09.72. Clearview NJ was second in 12:19.53.

Alanna Woolfolk from Clayton NJ won the high jump with 5-8, tying for US#8. 

Xavier Donaldson from Seton Hall Prep NJ ran US#10 time to win the boys 200, with 21.53 seconds.
