Tigers Begin Outdoor Season at Yellow Jacket Invitational

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson track and field program will begin its outdoor season on Friday when it travels to Atlanta to participate in the Yellow Jacket Invitational. The meet will take place from 12:30-8 p.m. on Friday and 2-3:40 p.m. on Saturday.

The Tigers are coming off a successful indoor season in which both the men’s and women’s teams finished third in the ACC. The Tigers claimed seven individual ACC Championships, and nine Tigers earned All-America honors at nationals.

In the 2022 outdoor season the Clemson men finished sixth and the women finished fifth in the ACC. The teams are highlighted by Indoor 60 meter hurdles national champion Giano Roberts and ACC Champion and record-holder in the 60 meter dash, Kiara Grant.

The Yellow Jacket Invitational serves as the first of seven meets before the ACC Championship Meet to be held in Raleigh, N.C. from May 11-13.
