TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State’s track and field teams are set to host the annual FSU Relays this Thursday and Friday (March 23-24) at Mike Long Track in Tallahassee, Fla. Admission is free, and the action will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday with the women’s hammer throw and will conclude at 8:30 p.m. with the men’s 5,000 meter run. Friday’s action will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the women’s discus and conclude at 2:50 p.m. with the men’s 4×400 meter relay. FSU will also host a recognition of their seniors and attending alumni at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
Some FSU distance runners will travel to the Raleigh Relays for competition on Thursday and Friday.
The Seminoles are coming off their first outdoor meet of the season where Patrick Donnelly was named ACC Men’s Track Performer of the Week after winning the 5,000 meters in Jacksonville with a time of 14:51.81 and Milton Ingraham won the discus at the Auburn Intercollegiate with a throw of 56.68 meters.
The Noles will have a large squad competing in their only home meet of the season with many All-Americans not only competing for the Seminoles but among the visiting men’s and women’s teams from Auburn, Florida, FAMU, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Southern Miss and Syracuse.
