Maryland to Compete at Raleigh Relays, Navy Springtime Invite

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland track and field squads will travel to Annapolis on Saturday, March 25.

The Terps opened their 2023 outdoor season last week at the UCF Black and Gold Invitational. Kayla Thorpe opened her season with a bang, setting a new program record in the Javelin throw. It marked the second straight season that the Terps throws squad set a program record on opening day, after Jeff Kline opened the indoor season with a program record in the shot put.

The Terps will look to continue to put forth personal best performances and watch more program records fall this spring.

The Navy Springtime Invitational is set to kick off at 10 AM on Saturday and can be followed live here.

Two athletes will also travel to the Raleigh Relays, and will begin competition on Thursday night in the women’s 10K which will begin at 10:57 PM. The meet can be followed live here.
