HIGH POINT, N.C. — Fifteen members of the Tennessee track & field program have traveled east to High Point, North Carolina, for the 14th annual HPU VertKlasse Meeting this weekend at Vert Stadium.
Seven student-athletes will make their outdoor season debuts at the meet, beginning Friday at 11:30 a.m. with the Lady Vol pole vaulting trio of Ellison Colarossi, Kendall Ford and Sarah Schmitt. Peyton Davis will also open his outdoor campaign on Friday, contesting the pole vault and running the 1,500-meter.
Freshman Kylah Buckle will see her first collegiate action after redshirting the indoor season, running the women’s 400-meter dash on Saturday. Other Tennessee athletes set to make their outdoor season debuts are Javonya Valcourt in the women’s 400m and Israel Adesina in the discus throw.
The meet will be streamed live both days via ESPN+, while live results will be provided throughout the weekend by FlashResults, Inc. A complete meet schedule and performance list can be viewed at the links above.
