Wildcats Complete Multi’s Portion of Weekend Competition


TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Track and Field’s two multi’s competitors for the weekend, Skylar Sieben and Hollan Powers, finished the last three events of the women’s heptathlon at the Jim Click Multi’s and Shootout at Drachman Stadium on Friday.
 
In the first heptathlon event of day two, the long jump, Skylar Sieben finished fourth overall and Hollan Powers also placed ninth with a PR leap. Additionally, Sieben finished sixth overall in the javelin. In the final event of the two-day competition, the 800m, Powers clocked a PR time and finished second, while Sieben finished sixth.
 
Overall, Sieben finished in fourth place in the heptathlon with a total score of 5416. Powers also finished ninth overall and posted a personal best score of 5032.
 
With the multi’s events completed, the Wildcats will look towards the start of the Jim Click Shootout and the rest of the events tomorrow. Field events will begin at 1:00 p.m. MST with the women’s hammer throw, and track events will start at 5:20 p.m. MST with the women’s 100m hurdles. Live results can once again be found here.
