PITTSBURGH— Twenty-four Panthers were named to the 2023 All-men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday (April 11).
Earning honors on the men’s side were Uri Arnon, Jack Balick, Clement Campbell, Darren McQueen, John Miller, Che Nwabuko, Samuel Otis, Luke Simpson, and Felix Wolter.
The Panther women who received honors included Eva Baldursdottir, Emily Brown, Reagan Flannery, Claire Hoffman, Winnie Incorvaia, Emily Jobes, Caleia Johnson, Taylor Newton, Folake Olujide-Ajibade, Foluke Ojibade, Jazmyn Potts, Alesia Rengle, Nikki Scherer, Ilse Steigenga, and Mackenzie Sullivan.
Jack Miller, Felix Wolter, and Nikki Scherer earned the honor for the second time in their careers at Pitt.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Indoor Track and Field Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships and/or the NCAA Indoor Championships during the most recent season.
