Baldwin, Stephenson Set School Records at Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT, Calif. – Michigan State track & field wrapped up action at the four-day Mt. SAC Invitational on Saturday in Walnut, California, highlighted by a pair of school records.

“I’m happy with how everyone performed this weekend,” said MSU jumps/combined events coach Ceith Creekmur. “Heath (Baldwin) getting over 8000 (points) for the first time is huge milestone.  Ryan (Talbot) completed his first full combined event since Big Tens last year, which is a big step forward for him.  I thought Dylan (Terryberry) did a great job of taking it event by event and opened his career with a great score.”

“For the vaulters, it’s great to get into some highly competitive meets,” continued Creekmur. “It’s good prep for Big Tens and NCAAs down the road.  They both performed well and competed well.”
