USC Lands 44 Student-Athletes On Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll for 2022-23

A total of 44 USC student-athletes representing six different Trojan teams have earned spots on the 2022-23 Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll for their accomplishments in the classroom. 

The group includes seven Trojans who are enjoying the third Pac-12 Honor Roll distinction of their careers – Aela Janvier (women’s swimming), Trent Martinez (men’s swimming), Alyson Miura (women’s basketball), Jackson Odgers (men’s swimming), India Otto (women’s basketball), Paul Retterer (men’s swimming) and Savannah Stocker (women’s swimming).

Ten Trojans have picked up their second set of winter academic honors, along with 27 first-time USC recipients being recognized by the Pac-12 for 2022-23.

A total of 854 student-athletes were recognized for their work in the classroom and were named to the Pac-12 Conference’s 2023 Winter Academic Honor Roll.

 

Any student-athlete on their respective team roster with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or above, and who has served at least one year in residence at the institution, is eligible for the distinction.

 

The 2023 Winter Academic Honor Roll includes 417 student-athletes who participated in the Conference-sponsored sports of men’s and women’s basketball, women’s gymnastics, men’s and women’s swimming & diving and wrestling. As approved by the Conference’s Faculty Athletics Representatives, any student-athlete competing in an NCAA-sponsored or emerging sport at a Pac-12 institution, regardless of league sponsorship, is also eligible for Academic Honor Roll recognition and includes 437 student-athletes from the winter sports of fencing, men’s gymnastics, men’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s indoor track & field and skiing.
