Panthers Set For Outdoor ACC Track and Field ACC Championships


PITTSBURGH— The Panthers are set to compete at the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The meet will be May 11-13 at the NC State’s Paul Deer Track.

The ACC Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be streamed live each day via ACC Network Extra as follows: Thursday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. through 9 p.m., and Saturday from 2 p.m. until the championship’s conclusion at approximately 9 p.m.

The Panthers will kick-off competition on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the men’s and women’s long jump, and men’s and women’s hammer throw. Opening women’s heptathlon events are also scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

Prelims are set for early Thursday evening in three men’s and women’s running events, followed by the women’s 10,000-meter final at 8:10 p.m. and the men’s 10,000m at 8:50.

 A full slate of events and preliminaries continues Friday and Saturday, with finals in 20 running events and four field events wrapping up the Championships on Saturday from 3 until 9 p.m.
