Moore Named to The Bowerman Women’s Post-Conference Watch List

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Gators Track and Field jumper Jasmine Moore was named to The Bowerman Women’s Post-Conference Watch List Update, by the USTFCCCA on Wednesday afternoon. Moore is one of four women who have appeared on all seven Women’s Bowerman Watch Lists this season. The other three are Julien Alfred from Texas, Jorinde van Klinken from Oregon, and Britton Wilson from Arkansas.

This past week at the SEC Outdoor Championships, Jasmine Moore continued her dominance of horizontal jumps, winning gold in both the long and triple jump competitions. In the long jump competition, Moore jumped 6.88m/22’7″, breaking Yanis David’s school record that was set at the 2019 NCAA Championship. The following day in the triple jump Moore was golden again (14.14M/46’4.75″), breaking the facility record with the farthest jump in the country this year and the second farthest in the world this year.

As a Gator, Moore has won every horizontal jump competition at SEC and NCAA Championship events that she competed, winning eight of eight SEC titles and six of six NCAA titles.

Moore and the Gators continue their 2023 campaign on May 24-27 at the NCAA East Preliminaries in Jacksonville, Florida.
