CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—Eighteen different University of North Carolina men’s and women’s track and field athletes earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors at the the 2023 ACC Outdoor Championships, held May 11-13 in Raleigh, N.C.
All-ACC criteria include:
• The first three individual event finishers are first-team All-ACC.
• Finishers four through six in an event are second-team.
• Each member of a first-place relay are first-team
• Each member of a second- and third-place finishing relay are second-team

• 18 Tar Heels earned first- or second-team All-ACC honors in 20 events
• Eight first-team All-ACC honorees
• 10 second-team All-ACC competitors
• Madison Wiltrout (women’s javelin), Ethan Strand (men’s 1,500m) and Craig Saddler II (men’s 400mH) each won individual ACC titles.
• Wiltrout won her third ACC title in the women’s javelin.
• John Tatter was second-team All-ACC in both the 5,000m and the 10,000m, while Brianna White also earned second-team honors in two events (the 200m and 400m).
