JACKSONVILLE, FL – The NC State track and field team returned to action on day two of the East Regional, with four athletes claiming their spot at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
JUMPS
Jirah Sidberry got the Thursday night action started for the Pack in the women’s long jump, finishing sixth and claiming her spot at NCAA’s with a leap of 6.33m.
DISTANCE
The Wolfpack had three athletes finish in the top-10 and punch their tickets to Nationals in the women’s 10,000m semifinal.
Kelsey Chmiel took sixth place with a time of 33:45.97. Fellow runner Allie Hays clocked in at 33:53.89 to earn ninth. Mariah rounded out the group, finishing in tenth after running 33:54.51.
MIDDLE-DISTANCE
In the first round of the women’s 1500m, Katelyn Tuohy ran a time of 4:19.08 to finish sixth and qualify for the quarterfinal.

NC State returns to action tomorrow for day three of the 2023 NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville.
