British relay medallist breaks landmark 100m barrier as our international summary includes detailed results from Berlin, Xiamen, Zurich and Bellinzona

Bellinzona, Switzerland, September 3-4

Elaine Thompson-Herah, who failed to make Jamaica’s team in the individual events at Budapest, won the 100m in 10.92/0.0 with Imani Lansiquot strengthening her hold on third place on the UK all-time lists with her first sub-11 clocking with 10.99 in second as she held the multiple Olympic champion to less than a metre.

Disqualified in Budapest for a false start, Lansiquot ran a stunning second leg in the 4x100m final where Britain won bronze and this improves her legal PB of 11.01 set in Loughborough in July.

World and Olympic champion Daniel Stahl won the discus with Lawrence Okoye back over 65 metres in fourth after just missing the Budapest final.

Another winner from Hungary, Femke Bol easily won the 400m hurdles in 52.79.

The 2022 world champion Alison de Santos returned to winning form to win the men’s event in 47.50 but was pushed all the way by Wilfried Happio.

Natoya Goule-Toppin won the 800m in 1:57.53 with Audrey Werro setting a Swiss Junior (and under-23) record of 1:58.13 in third.
