Women of Utah to Send Small Contingent to Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational


SALT LAKE CITY – The 20th-ranked Utah cross country team will send a quartet of racers to the Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational this Friday, Oct. 6, at the Steve and Dona Reeder Cross Country Course.

IN THE RANKINGS
Heading into this week’s meet, the Women of Utah check in at No. 20 in the latest (Week #1) USTFCCCA National Polls after an idle weekend. This marks the 19th-consecutive week (includes preseason rankings) the Utes have been ranked in the national poll dating back to week No. 3 in 2021 when Utah cracked the top-25 at No. 11 after winning the Dellinger Invitational.
 
OFF THE BLOCK
The Women of Utah will send Vero Boire, Caroline Fischer, Brooke Manson and Bri Rinn to race in the 5k meet this Friday up in Logan, Utah. Boire will be making her debut with the Utes after not competing last season. Friday’s meet will serve as the second race this season for Manson and Rinn while it serves as the third meet this season for Fischer.
 
UP NEXT
Utah will get another test next Friday, Oct. 13, as it competes in the annual Nuttycombe Invitational at the Zimmerman Championship Course in Verona, Wisc. Fans will able to follow along via live results or on RunnerSpace.
