LOGAN, Utah – Caroline Fischer led the small contingent of racers for the Utah cross country team on Friday at the Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational.

The fifth-place finish for Fischer was a new career-best after she posted a time of 18:40.53 on the 5k course. Bri Rinn also tapped a top-10 performance for the Utes, crossing the finish line with a mark of 18:57.05 for ninth-overall. Brooke Manson closed out the trio of runners for Utah at the meet with a time of 19:11.89 for 16th.

The Women of Utah head to Verona, Wisc., next Friday, Oct. 13, to compete in one of the premier meets in the country in the Nuttycombe Invitational at the Zimmerman Championship Course. Fans will able to follow along via live results or on RunnerSpace+.
