Bulldogs Prepare to Conclude the Regular Season at the Crimson Classic


Tuscaloosa, Ala– Mississippi State’s cross-country team returns to the line Friday morning to conclude the regular season at the Crimson Classic.

The meet will be held at Harry Pritchett Running Course and hosted by the University of Alabama. The Bulldog women are set to begin the annual 6k at 9:20 A.M CT. Live updates and results can be found at https://live.pttiming.com/xc-ptt.html?mid=5838

The race will feature 24 teams including 5 SEC foes: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee. The host team, Alabama, ranks 14th in this week’s national poll and first in the South Region. Tennessee ranks sixth in the South Region. The Bulldogs are entering its final race of the regular season with three top 10 finishes Including back to back seventh place finishes.

Mississippi State will bring 11 runners to the meet, including four runners who competed in the Crimson Classic last year: Madison Jones, Hayley Ogle, Hunter Anderson and Savannah McIntosh. Jones was the first to cross the line last year with a time of 21:21.2 for a top-35 finish. Ogle returns to the line following a 6k personal best performance at the Gans Creek Classic with a time of 21:43.4.

Also returning to the line are five freshmen and two redshirt freshmen: Ramat Jimoh, Jaelyn Ogle, Gabrielle Boulay, Brooklyn Quanz, Madelyn Keating, Maci Mills and Mallory Streetman. Jimoh has scored for the Bulldogs in all three meets this season.
