MADISON, Wis. – The Notre Dame cross country team was back on the road this week as they competed in the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday, Oct. 13.
The Notre Dame men’s team finished 11th in the men’s 8k championship, while the women’s team placed 6th in the women’s 6k championship.
Josh Menther led Notre Dame as he ran a 24:02.6 in the race. He was followed by Ethan Coleman, who recorded a personal record with a time of 24:10.4 in the 8k. Carter Solomon finished next for the Irish, with CJ Singleton up next as he too set a PR time of 24:24.9.

The Irish men’s team finished fourth in the men’s 8k B race. Robert Cozean led Notre Dame with a 12th place finish (25:22.3) and was followed by Gsabe Hinrichs (18th, 25:26.8), Daelen Ackley (23rd, 25:32.2), Tom Seitzer (45th, 25:49.9) and Rishabh Prakash (72nd, 26:10.1).
Olivia Markezich led Notre Dame with a top-ten finish, running a 20:02.7 in the 6k. She was followed by Grace Schager, who set a PR with a time of 20:47.6). Gretchen Farley also recorded a personal best in the 6k as she finished the race running a 21:04.1.

The Irish finished 10th in the women’s 6k B race as Sophie Novalk finished fourth with a time of 21:41.4. She was followed by Claire Sievern (68th, 22:51.4), Paige Grant (69th, 22:53.4), Charlotte Turesson (108th, 23:32.5) and Molly Grant (114th, 23:38.5).
