SALT LAKE CITY – Brooke Manson and Bri Rinn closed out the regular-season for Utah cross country with the two competing at the annual Utah Open on Thursday, Oct. 19, at Sunnyside Park.
Manson led the way for the small Utah contingent Thursday finishing in 16th-overall with a mark of 19:45.5 on the tough 5k course. Rinn followed shortly thereafter in 29th-overall with a time of 20:39.7.
With the Utah Open all wrapped up, that closes the regular-season chapter for the Women of Utah as they get ready to leave for the Pac-12 Championships next Friday, Oct. 27. Gun for the women is slated to go off at 12:10 p.m. (MT) / 11:20 a.m. (PT) at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash. The conference championships meet will also air on Pac-12 Networks with Jim Watson and Tom Feuer.
