Armagh Road Races event website
Eight athletes will represent Scotland at the prestigious Armagh Road Races later this week.
Runners from across Britain will toe the line on Thursday evening in Northern Ireland intent on chasing fast time.
We’re pleased four men and four women to represent scottishathletics in an international opportunity via the auspices of our Road Running and Cross Country Commission.
They will be joined by a host of other Scots as clubs and athletics recognise the value of these races.
The Armagh event features 3k runs for women and 5k runs for men. Each year, Armagh delivers fast times and remarkable depth – with Scottish athletes having performed well in recent years individually and in the team races.

We send our warm congratulations to these athletes and to their coaches and families. Scotland selections are always the consequence of many years of hard work and development.
We thank the clubs involved with these athletes, too, for their significant role in that development.
