Gators Land at 5 and 3 in USTFCCCA Men’s and Women’s Week 4 Rankings


Both teams find themselves in the top three in the final USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Rankings of the regular season.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With the regular season in the books, the Gators Track & Field program looks ahead to the SEC and NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. After participating in both the Tyson Invitational and David Hemery Valentine Invitational over the weekend, the Gators have earned No. 5 (Men’s) and No. 3 (Women’s) rankings in the latest USTFCCCA NCAA Division I National Coaches’ Poll.
 
The Men’s team, after being ranked No. 6 in Week 3, have moved up one spot to No. 5 off of their performances this past week. The team boasts one national leader (Robert Gregory, 200m – 20.40), five national top-five marks and seven national top-10 marks.
 
The Women’s team takes a small fall to No. 3 after being placed at No. 2 for the previous two weeks. The team lays claim to one national leader (Parker Valby, 5000 – 14:56.11) as well as five national top-five marks and five national top-10 marks.
