The World Indoors are coming to Glasgow very soon and anticipation is rising across the athletics community in Scotland.
Alongside the Championships, scottishathletics will be hosting a series of four free webinars for our members and we will also be offering the opportunity to attend to our counterparts in the rest of the U.K. and to other Federations within World Athletics.

Driving the Future of Athletics through innovation at our clubs
Clubs are at the heart of athletics in Scotland as they are in Federations throughout the world.
Taking place in between the final sessions of the World Indoors, this session will share best practice from Aberdeen AAC (Scotland), Team Bath AC (England) and Sparta Athletics & Running (Denmark).
Across the presentations, the clubs will showcase the work they are doing to boost participation, develop performance and further enhance their coaching offering.

Eric Liddell lecture – celebrating 100 years since Eric’s Olympic gold in Paris
Delivered by Professor Dr Grant Jarvie (Chair of Sport, University of Edinburgh), this online talk is being held during the centenary year of Eric Liddell’s historic gold medal at the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris.
Eric Liddell is one of Scotland’s most iconic sporting figures and the centenary provides the perfect opportunity to ensure that his inspirational legacy endures for generations to come.
The Eric Liddell 100 is a programme of events and activities recognises and celebrates the life, sporting, and community service achievements of one of Scotland’s most iconic sporting figures, Eric Liddell.
