Blue Devils Commence Outdoor Track Season at Miami Collegiate Invitational


DURHAM – Duke track and field commences its outdoor season this weekend as the Blue Devils head south to the Sunshine State, gearing up to take part in the Miami Collegiate Invitational on Saturday, March 23 in Coral Gables, Fla.
 
PrimeTime Timing will provide live results for Saturday’s meet while events will be streamed live via ACC Network Extra beginning at 1 p.m.
 
MEET INFORMATION

 
WHAT TO KNOW

  • Duke will be represented by 36 athletes set to compete across 21 track and field events.
  • The competition field at the meet consists of athletes from 11 different programs from across the country including Bucknell, Buffalo State, Colorado School of Mines, FAU, Florida Memorial University, Georgia, Harvard, Manhattan College, Miami Notre Dame and Nova Southeastern.
  • Several key performers from a season ago open their season this weekend, including 2023 USTFCCCA All-Americans Beau Allen, Julia Jackson, Megan McGinnis and Lauren Tolbert.
  • The meet gets underway at 9 a.m., with the women’s high jump and men’s and women’s hammer throw while action on the track is slated begin at 1:05 p.m., via the women’s 4x100m relay.
