Irish Open Up Outdoor Season At Hurricane Invitational – Notre Dame Fighting Irish – Official Athletics Website

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Notre Dame Fighting Irish opened up their outdoor season with four student-athletes competing in the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational at Cobb Stadium.

Emma Albano and Shiloh Corrales-Nelson each competed in the women’s hammer throw. Albano opened up the season recording a new personal record as she threw 57.26m in the event. Corrales-Nelson finished the day with a throw of 50.93m in the hammer throw.

On the men’s side, Blake Kusky and Michael Shoaf competed in the men’s hammer throw. Kusky also recorded a PR in the event as he finished with a throw of 61.46m. Shoaf opened up the season with a throw of 57.31m in the hammer throw.

The Irish are back in action March 28-30 as they head to Raleigh, NC to compete in the Raleigh Relays.
