USC senior jumper Temi Ojora was named the Pac-12 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for the week of March 18-24, it was announced by the conference today (March 26).

Ojora won the women’s triple jump competition at the Ron & Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational on March 23 with an NCAA-leading jump of 44-11.75/13.71m (+2.1w).  She currently leads all NCAA women’s triple jumpers by two or more feet.  Ojora also had a wind-legal jump of 44-11.50/13.70 (+0.7) and had three jumps of over 44 feet in the competition.

Ojora’s 44-11.75 jump tied her wind-legal personal best which ranks third on USC’s all-time list behind only Wendy Brown and Yvette Bates, who set their marks in 1988 and 1987 respectively and were NCAA Indoor triple jump champions.
