FROM THE START LINE

The busy weekend for Utah track & field will see it send 30 student-athletes across three different meets this weekend. Of those competing, the freshmen will be making their collegiate debut in the outdoor season while Vero Boire, Brooke Manson, Karli Branch, Grace Burnett, Caroline Fischer, Chloe Kockler, Ellie Lundgreen, Annie Murdock and Claire Rusovick will be making their outdoor season debut this year. Additionally, transfers Clara Mayfield, Lindsey Peters and Saydi Anderson will make their Utah debut in the outdoor season.
 
VAN ONSELEN HEADED TO SERBIA
Former Utah distance runner Lisha van Onselen will have the honor of representing her home country of South Africa THIS weekend at the 2024 World Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. The Cape Town native will compete with the senior women’s national team in the 10k at Park of Friendship alongside the Sava and Danube River.
