COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland track and field and cross country associate head coach Danielle Siebert has been selected as a member of the Olympics coaching staff for Team USA as USA Track and Field’s women’s head manager for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, as announced by USA Track and Field.
Siebert, who is in her 16th season as a coach with the Terps, has served in multiple other roles for USA Track and Field since starting her coaching career after competing for the Terps from 2002-2006. During the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Siebert served as an event manager for Team USA, and before that was in the same role for the 2017 World Championships, and was an assistant at the 2015 World Championships. She has also served as the head manager at the U20 Pan American games in 2017, and as a manager at the U20 World Championships in 2012.
At Maryland, Siebert works primarily with the middle distance runners, where she has coached multiple student-athletes to all-conference honors, NCAA Championships, and school records.
