SEATTLE – Husky Track & Field makes a fourth straight trip to the Golden State this week as the annual Mt. SAC Relays are ready to roll. Action begins as soon as Wednesday, Apr. 17, as the decathlon gets going featuring Huskies Bruno Comin Pescador and Jami Schlueter. Huskies will then be in action each day through Saturday, Apr. 20.
Runnerspace.com will provide live video of the action from Hilmer-Lodge Stadium in Walnut, California. UW last competed at the venue for the 2023 Pac-12 Championships.
Schlueter starts his decathlon Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. and Comin Pescador gets started at 11:30 a.m.
It will be a crew of sprinters, jumpers, vaulters and throwers for the Dawgs this week, with the distance squad resting up after racing last weekend at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Washington goes into the week ranked a season-high 19th on the women’s side, and the men are currently No. 26 nationally.
