SEATTLE – It’s hardware time at Hayward Field. The NCAA Outdoor Championships have arrived once again, with 13 Huskies set to challenge for championships this Wednesday through Saturday, June 5-8, in the home of their conference rivals from Eugene.

 

Men’s events will take place on Wednesday and Friday, and women’s events go on Thursday and Saturday, with the exception of the multis, as junior Jami Schlueter will compete in the decathlon from Wednesday-Thursday.

 

Heading into the national meet, the Husky women’s team owns at No. 17 ranking, while the men come in at No. 25 nationally.

 

The men are looking for a fourth-straight Top-10 team finish at an indoor or outdoor championship, a streak that started with a 4th-place indoor finish in 2023, followed by ninth-place at the 2023 outdoor meet, then 10th-place at the 2024 indoor meet.
