The British Milers Club Grand Prix returns with it’s third instalment taking place on Saturday 22nd June in Loughborough. Join us for a thrilling display of speed, endurance, and competitive spirit as some of the UK’s best athletes go head to head.
The men’s 800m A race is highlighted by Ethan Hussey. The European U23 silver medalist will have half an eye on the Olympic Qualifying Standard of 1:44.70 ahead of next weeks UK Athletics Championships taking place in Manchester. He’s joined by Piers Copeland and David Race who stand out amongst a stacked field
The women’s 800m A race features sisters Indienne and Shakira King. Indienne (U23) represented GB at the European U20 Championships last season whilst Shakira (U17) represented England at the SIAB International where she took 800m Gold. They’re joined by fellow international Beth Morley.
The men’s 1500m A race features Charles Wheeler, Ben Sandilands, and Tomer Tarragano. They face off against European U23 10,000m Champion Rory Leonard and European U23 Cross Country Champion Will Barnicoat.
In the women’s 1500m A race, GB International Tia Wilson competes against emerging talents in Katie Pye, and Lyla Belshaw.
The men’s 3000m A race features GB International duo Quinn Miell-Ingram and Henry Dover, who competed at the World Cross Country Championships. They’ll battle with Inter Counties Cross Country Champion Aron Gebremarium.
In the women’s 3000m A race Philippa Bowden returns to the BMC after her kick-to-victory in Watford. The victim of that sprint, Innes Fitzgerald looks to overturn the result in Loughborough. They’re joined by Olivia Forrest, and Jennifer Nesbitt.
