Headed for Dundee: Record entry numbers for #4Jathletics action

Thursday 11th July 2024

Information for weekend events in Dundee

There’s National Championship action coming up this weekend with a busy programme of #4Jathletics in Dundee.

And we are delighted to confirm that entry numbers for the 4J Masters Champs and the 4J Combined Events Champs are at record levels.

In total, we received 355 athlete names for the event over Saturday and Sunday at the Regional Performance Centre facility in Dundee.

There are 225 names for the Masters, Para and Open Steeplechase events and this looks to be the highest entry figures for the past ten years (with 200 last year and 157 in 2022).

Similarly, 129 names for the Combined Events Champs looks to be a record entry.

Thank you, as always, for your support for national championships in our #4Jathletics track and field season.

Thank you, as always, to our team of qualified scottishathletics Officials who make events happen.

Start-lists (will become Live Results)

*As we are a little short of Officials, we would be keen to hear on the day from any parents/coaches/club folk who can volunteer to help out.

If you are there to support an athlete or athletes and could help us for an hour of two we would be delighted.

Please speak to a member of the Competitions Team at Dundee on Saturday or Sunday if you are able to help. Thank You.
