2024 Olympic Games Women’s Top 10 Formcharts

2024 Olympic Games Women’s Top 10 Formcharts

In the high-stakes 100 Sha’Carri Richardson will look to fend off Budapest silver medalist Shericka Jackson and 2-time Olympic titlist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. (KEVIN MORRIS)

WE HAVE LISTED our Top 10 in each event. Any Team USA members who don’t make the Top 10 are listed in alphabetical order at the end. The right-hand column is the athlete’s placing in last year’s T&FN World Rankings (nr = not ranked). For the relays, the numbers indicate place, if any, in last year’s WC.

The two mixed-sex relays are listed in both the men’s and women’s compilations, but personnel remain very much in question.

All charts are based on the best information available as of July 28 (meaning that final entry lists were known, but not actual start lists), so the presence of an athlete’s name doesn’t guarantee they’ll contest the event.

It’s not known which combination of events Sifan Hassan will attempt: she’s entered in the 1500, 5000, 10,000 & marathon and at one point hinted at a quadruple.

Our picks will NOT be updated as the meet progresses.
