Scotland are sending a team of our top hill runners to Italy for the Trofeo Nasego event
There are two races – a vertical k and a classic up-and-down mountain race.
We are delighted today to name eight athletes to travel to Italy with some of the team to race one and others to race both events.
Both are part of the WMRA World Cup Series and it is great that the race organiser invited Scotland to be part of this popular mountain running event.

Vertical race 4.2km and 1000m is on Saturday 31 August and Trofeo Nasego 21.4km 1336m climb and 1036 descent is on Sunday 1 September.
