NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Freshman track and field student-athlete Josie Donelson will compete on the world stage in Lima, Peru, Tuesday. She was selected to the Team USA 4×400-meter relay pool for the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships.
Donelson, of Lake Oswego, Oregon, is a five-time individual state champion and state record holder in the 300-meter hurdles and 400 meters. She was named the 2024 Gatorade Girls Track & Field Player of the Year for Oregon. At the 2024 USATF Outdoor Championships, she clocked 53.97 seconds in the 400 meters to place fourth.
