LIMA, Peru – Vanderbilt track and field freshman Josie Donelson won gold as a member of Team USA’s women’s 4×400-meter relay at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships Saturday.
Team USA’s relay squad consisted of Michaela Mouton, Olivia Harris, Donelson and Zaya Akins. They recorded a time of 3:30.74 to win the event.
Donelson helped the United States advance to the final, running the anchor leg during Friday’s qualification round. In qualifying, the team clocked 3:36.71, coming in sixth.
