CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s and women’s cross country teams are set to open up the 2024 season at the USC Upstate Eye Opener in Spartanburg, S.C. The women will be running the 5k starting at 6:30 p.m. ET and the men are set to run the 8k at 7:10 p.m. ET.
Including Clemson, 19 institutions are set to compete in Spartanburg.
Last season, the Tigers impressed at the USC Upstate Eye Opener as the women finished second overall and the men finished third. Sophomore Gladys Chepngetich tabbed a second place finish on the women’s side while Victor Ndiwa came in second for the men.
